Charles Dickens: A Tale of Two CitiesAn example of Dickens's literary work, A Tale of Two Cities is the second historical novel. Two cities in question are Paris and London at the time of the French Revolution which is an actual historical circumstance. However, the characters were not real people.
I would like to show the opening line of A Tale of Two Cities is
“It was the best of times; it was the worst of times...”
I really like his style, and great expectations is still one of my favorite novels.
